The publisher of The Risk Retention Reporter announced it haslaunched a new quarterly publication, RRG Industry Indicators.

Its new offering, RRR said, is designed to help readers identifymarket niches and opportunities that may be underserved.

Designed for insurance professionals, regulators and othersinvolved in the alternative risk transfer market, RRG IndustryIndicators provides information designed to let executives quicklyassess the “vitality” of the risk retention marketplace, recognizeopportunities, identify competitors, and make profitable businessand regulatory decisions, the company said.

Karen Cutts, managing editor and a regular columnist forNational Underwriter, said in a statement, “RRG Industry Indicatorspresents the hard facts that take the guesswork out of marketplacedevelopments and lets executives make decisions based on soundinformation.”

Each issue looks at statistical indicators that gauge the stateof the risk retention marketplace. The publication observespatterns in the current quarter, including RRG formations andretirements, business areas, domiciles, and captive managers,comparing them to historical data.
