Prudential Financial's group insurance business has implementeda series of technology improvements the company describes as "userfriendly." Life and disability insurance claims applications nowhave enhanced navigation so clients can execute functions,integrate report scheduling, and increase flexibility.

Prudential clients now have streamlined access to one-clickviewing of administrative reports, which are available throughe-mail notification, updated screen designs, and new on-screeninstructions. "Our clients have a wealth of information at theirfingertips in a format that is much more intuitive and adaptable tomeet their needs," says Ferrito.

Research on trends in Web technology for benefits has enabledPrudential to identify how plan sponsors use technology to improvebenefits administration. "Employers' reliance on online tools isexpected to increase, and we will continue to enhance our systemsto improve our clients' online experiences," says Ferrito.
