Risk modeling organization, EQECAT, Inc., has recently unveiledRelease 3.10 of EQECAT catastrophe management software.
|According to EQECAT, the program also includes its nextgeneration model for Atlantic basin hurricanes. The demand surgecomponent of the EQECAT model has also been updated based on thefindings from a review of economic data and insurance claims from2004 and 2005
|"The EQECAT model now provides a 'push button' option to viewnear-term risk throughout the Atlantic basin,providing flexibilityin analyzing the risk," said Bob Healy, senior vice president ofEQECAT in a release.
