Science-based health risk prediction company, DxCG, has teamedwith Urix to develop a new integrated disability management tool toassist insurance carriers and employers in managing medical costsfrom workers' compensation-related injuries, as well as short andlong-term disabilities.
|DxCG's first predictive modeling system for disabilitymanagement will allow clients to apply the same scientificallyadvanced predictive models that have been used for managingpopulation health for the group health insurance industry for morethan 10 years.
|DxCG predictive models will give clients the ability to identifyhigh-cost claims quickly in order to improve focused service toinjured or disabled workers. The company said it also willsignificantly help manage costs by providing medical cost andutilization information that can be used for reserve setting anddetecting fraud and abuse.
