Location Intelligence provider, Pitney Bowes MapInfo hasrecently aligned with Exclusive Analysis, a strategic intelligencecompany that forecasts global violent and political risk. Thecompanies have teamed up to provide insurers with a new terrorismrisk model and data set called TerrorRisk.

The program uses fact-based, location-specific metrics developedby Exclusive Analysis that will help evaluate the propensity ofviolent and political risks on more than 3,700 global points ofinterest.

The global TerrorRisk database provides insurers and riskmanagers with a new analysis of geographic terror risk exposuresthat can be evaluated across target types or by desired politicalor geographical boundaries.

TerrorRisk contains global intelligence about thousands ofspecific terror risk target locations that insurers can use forterrorism exposure location analytics, portfolio risk management,risk proximity analysis, and street-level terrorism riskassessment.
