Wells Fargo Insurance Services of Minnesota Inc., a subsidiaryof San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Company, said it hasacquired Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP's employee benefitsoperations in Minnesota.
|Terms of the deal, which closed June 1, were not released.
|Virchow, Krause is a major accounting and consulting firm withover 1,200 staff and regional offices in Minneapolis, Madison,Milwaukee, Chicago and Detroit.
|Jon Ecker, partner and head of the employee benefits practice inMinneapolis, Minn., and his team--including Ruth Henderson,Courtnay Merhiy and Sarah Barton--will join Wells Fargo InsuranceServices, which changed its name from Acordia earlier thisyear.
