Science-based health risk prediction company, DxCG, has teamedwith Urix to develop a new integrated disability management tool toassist insurance carriers and employers manage medical costs fromworkers' compensation related injuries, as well as short andlong-term disabilities.
|DxCG's first predictive modeling system for disabilitymanagement will allow clients to apply the same scientificallyadvanced predictive models that have been used for managingpopulation health for the group health insurance industry for morethan 10 years.
|DxCG predictive models will give clients the ability to identifyhigh-cost claims quickly in order to improve focused service toinjured or disabled workers and significantly help manage costs.The models also provide medical cost and utilization informationthat can be used for reserve setting and detecting fraud andabuse.
