Maple Technologies announced plans are under way for thedevelopment of an information system solution for captivemanagement firms. The enhancements to Maple's Aspire Captive Suiteproduct will focus on firms engaged in the business of providingdata management, actuarial reporting, financial reporting,statistical reporting, and other data-mined processes critical formanagers who are responsible for captives, fronting carriers, andrisk retention groups.

Maple currently is engaged in discussions with members of thecaptive management industry to map specifications for the designand development of a customized process and system. Aspire CaptiveSuite will be designed to perform and articulate day-to-dayfunctional business requirements and generate analyticalcompilations critical to the captive manager'sresponsibilities.

Captive protocols will include an interface designed to acceptthird-party data streams from a captive manager's clients and allowdirect plug-in capability for those clients of a captive managerwho choose to license a Maple product. The plug-in will providecaptive managers seamless access to client-side data in order toperform their services in connection with the client.
