Desktop mapping sales and consulting company CDS Business Mapping has added a new storm-surge report to RiskMeter Online, its real-time, natural hazard risk report service.

RiskMeter Online's storm-surge report is based on the SLOSH (Sea, Lake, and Overland Surges from Hurricanes) model. The report will tell users if a property falls within an area likely to be flooded from a hurricane of a specific strength, and the maximum storm-surge height for each category of storm.

Currently the report is available only in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New York, South Carolina, and Texas.
