Marsh Inc. insurance brokerage said former Vice President AlGore will be the keynote speaker at the firm's client breakfast,which coincides with next month's Risk & Insurance ManagementSociety conference.

Mr. Gore is due to appear May 1. RIMS conference is scheduledfor April 29-May 3 in New Orleans.

Mr. Gore--whose film, "An Inconvenient Truth," won the 2007Academy Award for Best Documentary--will discuss issues related toclimate change and global risk during the breakfast, which isexpected to be attended by more than 800 of the firm's clients andemployees, Marsh said.

"Climate change has emerged as a top concern of business andgovernment leaders around the world," said Brian Storms, chairmanand chief executive officer of Marsh.

Mr. Gore, he said, is due to share his perspective and insightson climate change and other global issues with Marsh riskmanagement clients from business enterprises and public entitiesaround the world.

It is particularly significant, Mr. Storms said, that Mr. Gorewill address this gathering in New Orleans, which continues torecover from Hurricane Katrina, the costliest and one of the mostdeadly hurricanes in U.S. history.

Mr. Storms said Katrina, together with the other significantstorms that hit the U.S. southeast seaboard during 2005, had"elevated the scientific debate around global climate change andsharpened the focus of America's government and business leaders onthis issue."
