The Captive Insurance Companies Association announced today therecipients of two awards, for distinguished service and outstandingcaptive.
|Leonard D. Crouse, deputy commissioner for captive insurance forthe domicile of Vermont, was named recipient of the 2007Distinguished Service Award.
|He will be honored March 12 at the CICA International Conferencefor his “significant contributions to advancing the captiveinsurance industry,” CICA said.
|STICO Mutual Insurance Company, an RRG, was named recipient ofthe 2007 Outstanding Captive Award, CICA said. The award recognizescreative uses of a captive or risk retention group.
|“STICO Mutual's evolution over the past 20 years exemplifies thespirit of the new award,” CICA said.
|CICA's annual conference takes place in Tucson, Ariz., March11-13.
