|The 2007 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum will feature actorWilliam Shatner as a speaker, the two groups announced.
|ACORD, a Pearl River, N.Y.-based insurance data standards group,and LOMA, a financial sector company operations and researchorganization in Atlanta, Ga., said Mr. Shatner will open themeeting which runs May 20-22 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotelin Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
|Mr. Shatner, famed for his role as Capt. James Kirk in thelong-running television series "Star Trek," currently stars on ABCin "Boston Legal."
|Known also as the spokesperson for priceline.com, Mr. Shatnerhas written over 20 best-selling books.
