Ross D. Reda was named senior vice president and chief operatingofficer for Lockton Benefit Group, a subsidiary of the Kansas City,Mo.-based Lockton Inc. insurance brokerage firm.

The company said Mr. Reda has more than 10 years experience atLockton and more than 15 years of experience in the employeebenefits industry. During his career he has worked in the UNUM andAetna organizations in various roles.

The company also announced that Dr. Lawrence Levy was namedmedical director at Lockton Benefit Group, based in Dallas.

Prior to joining Lockton, Dr. Levy was senior vice president ofHealthcare Management and chief medical officer for Blue Cross BlueShield of Kansas City and TriSource. He has also held medicaldirector roles with United Healthcare Group and CIGNA.

Dr. Chris Meyer was named medical director at Lockton BenefitGroup, based in Kansas City, Mo.

Dr. Meyer recently retired from active duty as a flight surgeonwith the U.S. Air Force at Whiteman Air Force Base near KansasCity. He retired at the rank of major and is certified as amission-ready A-10 fighter pilot.

Shannon Demaree was named vice president, director of actuarialservices. She has more than a dozen years of experience as a healthcare actuary, Lockton said.

Prior to joining Lockton, Ms. Demaree was vice president anddirector of actuarial services for Wachovia Insurance Services anda senior actuary with Employers Reinsurance Corporation.
