Arbitration Forums, a nonprofit provider of dispute resolutionservices, is offering a new electronic service. Its new web-basedpaperless network, the E-Subro Hub System, will act as anelectronic channel for subrogation dealings between insurancecarriers and others involved.

Designed to streamline the subrogation claim process, theE-Subro Hub will not require any new software, according to thecompany, and will be scalable to companies' individual technicalcapacity. AF said that with the new technology, users will be ableto send and receive subrogation demands electronically, attachsupporting documents such as estimates, bills, photos, and policereports, automatically route demands to file handlers, negotiateonline, and view and download online reports.

“The E-Subro Hub will transform a slow, cumbersome, paper-drivensubrogation process into a seamless, highly-efficient electronicsystem that produces rapid settlements and reduces costs,” said D.Kay Smith, AF's president and chief executive officer.

If necessary, the hub will encourage settlement, said thecompany. Because the E-Subro Hub will share the same web-basedplatform as the company's arbitration services, filing arbitrationwill take a click of the mouse.
