The New York-based insurer said its AIG Goals for Kids plans todonate ?1,000 (U.S. $1,879 at current exchange rate) for each goalthat the Manchester United Football Club scores during any FAPremier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup or Carling Cup gameduring the 2006-2007 soccer season. The team's first match wasyesterday.

The money will go to children's charity in the United Kingdom orIreland.
