Thomas P. O'Brien, an executive with Hanover Insurance Group,has been named Company Person of the Year by the ProfessionalInsurance Agents of New Jersey.
|A small account specialist, he has served in the insuranceindustry for more than 40 years, the past five with Hanover.
|Everyone who has ever worked with Mr. O'Brien “knows howvaluable his expertise is in balancing the needs of the independentagent and his company,” said John Latimer, president of PIANJ.
|The association also announced that Andrew Harris, president ofLiberty Insurance Associates in Englishtown, N.J., will receive theDistinguished Insurance Service Award. Mr. Harris is also thepresident of Proformance Insurance Co.
|Mr. O'Brien and Mr. Harris will receive their awards during thejoint PIANJ and PIANY annual conference June 11-13 in AtlanticCity, N.J.
