Two nationally recognized restoration companies are sharing thesmall screen this year by making appearances on two differenttelevision programs.

A member company of Disaster Kleenup International, a network ofindependent property damage restoration contractors, recentlyassisted on several episodes entitled “After the Storm” for ABC'sExtreme Makeover: Home Edition. Statewide Disaster Restoration,which is based in Mississippi, helped rebuild commercial areas inFlorida, Mississippi, and Texas that were hardest hit by lastyear's hurricanes.

Paul Davis Restoration, a network of restoration and remodelinggeneral contractors, also will have a presence on the small screen.It will work as general contractor on the DIY Network's DIY to theRescue, a program which helps homeowners who are dealing withbotched home repairs, remodeling problems, and other do-it-yourselfjobs. The series seeks to teach homeowners how to finish difficultprojects. Episodes are slated to be filmed in the spring andsummer, with most episodes airing later in 2006.
