Audrey Samers, a veteran regulator who served as New YorkInsurance Department's deputy superintendent for the past fiveyears, is leaving her state post for a position with a privatecarrier.
|A spokesman for the department, Mike Barry, said Ms. Samers isjoining the New York office of Ace Group Holdings as associategeneral counsel and deputy global compliance officer.
|Ms. Samers will join Ace next month, he said. No replacement hasbeen named at this time. She has served with the department fornearly eight years, Mr. Barry said.
