California State Automobile Association (CSAA) has expandedproduction use of the Apogee platform from Steel Card. CSAA hasintroduced a six-month lower-cost preferred personal auto productand comparative rating to ensure consumers are advised of thelowest-cost option available. CSAA also is the latest insurer touse the services of ISO HomeValue from ISO and AIR WorldwideCorporation. CSAA signed a multiyear license for ISO HomeValue, aWeb-based residential property replacement cost estimator thathelps insurers address insurance-to-value and contain premiumleakage in their portfolio.

AIG Edison Life Insurance, a Tokyo-based division of AmericanInternational Group, Inc., has selected Onyx Software Corp. tosupport the carrier's ongoing customer relationship managementstrategy and business growth.

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company has contracted withiPipeline to syndicate MassMutual's life forms directly onto theWeb sites of the carrier's distribution partners. Using iPipeline'scontent repository, MassMutual now makes it easier for lifebrokerage agencies to offer their producers access to the formsnecessary to write new business.

Pan-American Life Insurance has signed an information technologyoutsourcing agreement with Computer Sciences Corporation to supportthe carrier's U.S. and Latin American operations. Under theagreement, CSC facilities in San Diego, Calif., and Austin, Tex.,will assume responsibility for Pan-American's data centeroperations, including mainframe applications and midrange andserver systems. CSC also will manage Pan-American's networkoperations and desktops in the United States and in Colombia,Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, and PuertoRico.

ACUITY has implemented CCC Accumark Reinspection from CCCInformation Services, Inc. Designed to create a more efficientprocess through the management of company-specified appraisalprocedures, the solution helps users quickly identify andprioritize claims for reinspection.

Conseco Insurance Group has licensed NaviSys Front Office fromNaviSys, Inc. The initial implementation will enable Conseco tocapture, manage, and issue new business for specified diseaseproducts and support task management for Medicare supplementalproducts. Conseco also has the option to use the solution for lifeinsurance and annuities.

Cumberland Insurance Group has placed the commercial multiperilpolicy system from AGO Insurance Software, Inc., into a productionenvironment to streamline the policy cycle process.

Homesteaders Life Company successfully has implemented theLifePRO insurance administration system from Professional DataManagement Again, Inc., converting nearly 400,000 contracts fromHomesteaders' legacy mainframe systems to LifePRO.

AAA Missouri is tackling agency and home-office efficiency withthe move into production of the Web-based policy administrationsystem Policy STAR from Fiserv Insurance Solutions. Competitivemarket conditions led AAA Missouri to optimize policy processingefficiency and promote ease of doing business with the company.

Sammons Financial Group has licensed from Computer SciencesCorporation its Customer Service Accelerator software, whichSammons will use to simplify its business processes as the companypursues its growth strategy. Sammons already uses CSC's suite oflife and annuity software offerings.
