The session titled “Minimizing Insurance and Claims Costs” isscheduled for March 23-24, at the RIMS Office in New York.

RIMS said participants will learn how to get more insurerscompeting for their business and how to stand out to an insurer asan exceptional risk.

They will also see how they are viewed by insurers, determinethe optimal deductible for maximum savings, and more, according toRIMS.

The course is designed for first-time risk managers, businessowners or managers, insurance administrators, and anyone requiringknowledge of the inner workings of insurance companies, RIMSsaid.

The course instructor is Craig Rowe, author of the book,“Insurance Premiums Are Killing My Business: Controlling Insuranceand Claims Costs for Small to Mid-sized Business.” Mr. Rowe ispresident of Canadian Risk Intervention Inc., a private sectororganization.
