Disaster response, anti-terrorism, hurricane research, public health and insurance industry experts will speak at the U.S. Travel Insurance Association's annual conference, the group said.

Titled "Catastrophes: Pending Doom or Manageable Risk?" the meeting will examine risks facing travelers and how the travel and insurance industries can manage events such as pandemics, catastrophes and terrorism.

The Richmond, Va.-based association's event is scheduled for Feb. 26-28 at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Fla.
