The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America willoffer its Elite Force Sales Training Program in four programs atits Alexandria, Va., headquarters this year.

The programs will be held March 7-9, May 9-11, Aug. 8-10 andNov. 14-16.

IIABA said the program is geared toward producers with less thanthree years experience in sales and less than five years in theinsurance industry. The course consists of 12 full days of trainingconducted in three-day, quarterly intervals.

Participants will receive practical education and use books andvideos written and produced by some of the best sales minds in theindustry, IIABA said.

“The Elite Force Sales Training course creates sellingmachines,” said Madelyn Flannagan, IIABA vice president ofeducation and research. “This program is ideal for producers wholack the foundation of a strong sales-skills program.

The small class size ensures the individual attention necessaryto recognize producers' sales strengths and weaknesses and quicklytransform them into extraordinary achievers.”

Training, IIABA said, will be provided by Chris Amrhein, aninsurance educator and consultant who previously worked as aproducer and independent agency manager. He is a full-time educatorfor the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and was the vicepresident of industry affairs for IIABA.
