Charles R. "Charlie" Daniels III was named 2006 chairman of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers at the group's membership meeting during its 92nd annual Insurance Leadership Forum in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
Mr. Daniels is executive vice president of Rose and Kiernan, Inc., of East Greenbush, N.Y.
He succeeds J. Hyatt Brown, chief executive officer of Brown & Brown, Inc., of Daytona Beach, Fla., in the post.
