Cooper Gay Group, a London-based independent reinsurance broker,has formed a U.S. branch, Cooper Gay & Cashman, with former Aonexecutive vice president Michael W. Cashman.
|The company said that the joint venture operation will be basedin Minneapolis where Mr. Cashman will serve as its chairman andchief executive officer.
|Cooper Gay said that the move is a part of its long-termcommitment to the North American treaty reinsurance brokeragemarket.
|Mr. Cashman, a St. Paul native, has experience in the region ashe acted as chairman and CEO of E.W. Blanch Co., theMinneapolis-based risk management and global reinsurance brokerduring his 22 years at the company.
