Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance (MEM) has joined TrustedChoice, an independent agents branding movement, as its 30thcompany partner, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers ofAmerica has announced.
|The branding effort was launched in 2001 by the IIABA to promotethe benefits independent agencies and brokerage firms offerconsumers.
|Columbia, Mo.-based MEM is a major insurer in the state, IIABAsaid. Founded in 1995, the company has nearly 18,000 policyholdersand is the number one choice of Missouri employers for workers'compensation insurance, the Alexandria, Va.-based association said.The company writes more than 500 different classes of businessthroughout the state.
|MEM joins 29 other company partners and more than 5,000independent insurance agencies and brokerage firms throughout thecountry in the independent agent branding program.
