OCI, a computer information solutions builder, announced that ithas created two Web-based products designed to eliminate the timedelays and extensive hand-written paperwork typically associatedwith getting certificates of insurance and filing a first report ofa workers' compensation injury.

Cheyenne, Wyo.-based OCI said its Certificates of Insurance isan online tool that creates, stores, issues and e-mails separaterequests for liability or property certificates of insurance,endorsements, addendums and attachments, "giving instant access tothe documentation critical to maintaining operations at aworkplace."

In addition, the company's First Report of Incident (FROI) andOSHA Reporting tool helps employers collect the necessaryinformation about an incident, which can then be submittedinstantly to the claims administrator system, or sent to insurancecarriers or third-party administrators.

With easy-to-use, OSHA-compliant forms, "employers can beassured they're collecting the right information and, by enteringthem electronically rather than by hand, reducing the risk thatdata entry errors will be made," said OCI.
