Swiss Re executive vice president Walter Kielholz is among theinsurance industry leaders who will be inducted into the InsuranceHall of Fame next month in Hong Kong.
|The International Insurance Society Inc. announced it also willhonor D. Ignacia Hernando de Larramendi (1921-2001), formerchairman of the MAPFRE Corporation of Spain, and Sir WilliamMeredith (1840-1923), creator and founder of the WorkersCompensation System of Canada, at the July 11 event.
|Also honored in Hong Kong will be Dr. William Haddon(1921-1985), the first director of the National Highway TrafficSafety Administration and the Insurance Institute of Highway Safetyin the U.S.
|The Insurance Hall of Fame honors 114 laureates from more than20 countries and was founded in 1957. It is located at theUniversity of Alabama.
