Liberty Northwest Joins Trusted Choice

NU Online News Service, Feb. 9, 4:04 p.m.EST?Liberty Northwest Insurance Corp. has joined TrustedChoice, the branding initiative created by the IndependentInsurance Agents & Brokers of America, to plug independentagents with consumers.[@@]

The Portland, Ore.-based insurer is a regional company ofLiberty Regional Agency Markets, a subsidiary of Boston-basedLiberty Mutual Group, and provides automobile, homeowners,commercial multi-peril, motorcycle, boat, fire, casualty, workers'compensation and other types of property and casualty insurance toindividuals and businesses.

To date, 10 national insurers and 18 regional insurers havejoined Trusted Choice as company members, said the Alexandria,Va.-based IIABA.

InsurBanc, a federal thrift bank created by the Big "I," is alsoa strategic partner.

Trusted Choice was created by the IIABA and several independentagency companies to highlight the benefits independent agencies andbrokerage firms offer consumers. The program is promoted nationallythrough a combination of advertising, company partner ingredientbranding, public relations, member agency marketing and Internetcommunications.
