Brown & Brown Buys American Specialty

|Terms of the deal were not released. Completion of the deal issubject to customary conditions, the Daytona Beach, Fla., brokersaid.
|American Specialty, with annualized revenues of approximately$13 million, is a provider of insurance and risk services for thesports and entertainment industry with clients in professionalsports, motor sports, amateur sports, and the entertainmentindustry. American Specialty will continue to operate from itscorporate campus in Roanoke as a stand-alone Brown & Brownoperation.
