Co.'s Launch Insurance Certificates Tool
|NU Online News Service, Sept. 16, 11:14 a.m.EDT?WorldGroup, an insurance software provider, andDocument Sciences Corp., a document automation vendor, havelaunched the Certs On Demand solution, the latest in WorldGroup'sInsureWorx product family.[@@]
|According to the companies, based in San Francisco andCarlsbard, Calif. respectively, InsureWorx Certs-ODS deliversspeed, accuracy and customer service efficiencies to certificatesof insurance requests, issuance and fulfillment. This Web-basedsoftware, the firms said, "enables commercial property &casualty and group life & health carriers to selectivelydistribute issuance authority to agents, brokers and even certainpreferred insureds."
|"Many contracts mandate proof of insurance coverage and up untilnow, it has been a manual procedure to process certificaterequests, verify the converages, and create certificates,"explained Jack McGannon, president and CEO of Document Sciences."InsureWorx Certs-ODS uses our? content processing technology to[offer]? a highly automated method for generating fully compliantcertificates of insurance."
|The new solution combines WorldGroup's InsureWorx J2EE-basedinsurance administration software with Document Sciences' xPressioncontent processing services, the companies said. The combinedoffering automates creation and multi-channel delivery (Web, print,e-mail) of business communications.
|A Document Sciences spokesperson said the combined product ispriced between $50,000 and $100,000.
