Tech Experts Headline ISOTech 2004

Speaking on "The Horrors of Modern Computing," Mr. Dvorak is totalk about new technologies and discuss ways to protect networksand information systems from potential threats posed by spam,worms, viruses and hackers, said Jersey City, N.J.-based ISO.

In a general session, National Underwriter TechnologyEditor Ara Trembly will moderate "Insurance Technologies: Treasuresor Trash," in which technology vendors and consultants willspeculate about hot?and not-so-hot?technologies for the industry,ISO said.

Panelists for the session include William N. Pieroni, generalmanager, IBM Global Insurance Industry, Chuck Johnston,director-industry marketing, Callidus Software; D. Michael O'Connor, vice president, property-casualty service operationsinnovations, The Hartford; Judy Johnson, vice president-insurance,Sapiens, and James Bisker, senior analyst-insurance,TowerGroup.

Another general session will feature Marne E. Gordan, directorof regulatory affairs for TruSecure Corp., who will offer insightsand real-world examples related to information security breaches,said ISO.
