Philbin Named IIABA Trusted Choice Director
|NU Online News Service, July 29, 12:19 p.m.EDT?Heather Philbin was named the new executive directorof Trusted Choice, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokersof America's branding initiative for independent agents.[@@]
|Ms. Philbin will manage the day-to-day operations of TrustedChoice, including strategic planning and implementation; recruitingagents, brokers and carriers; advertising programs; Web sitemanagement; and public relations activities, the Alexandria,Va.-based association said.
|She joins Trusted Choice from CGI, a Fairfax, Va.-base globalbusiness and information technology consulting firm, where shemanaged the company's brand program.
|Ms. Philbin replaces Larry Acord, who left to take a positionwith Prudential U.K. in Hong Kong.
