TVA Launches Online Document Management

The San Diego-based provider of products and services in thefire protection engineering, consulting, loss control and projectmanagement fields said the service would allow clients to quicklyand securely access reports, diagrams and other documents relatedto operations that have been surveyed by TVA.

TVA said product benefits include ease of use, advanced searchcapabilities and Web access allowing on-demand access to sitereports.

Clients seeking loss control information, TVA said, will nolonger need to rely on paper files or disparate databases to accessinformation for underwriting or in preparation for an impendingnatural disaster, such as a hurricane. All vital information isjust a mouse click away, said Jim Tomes, president of TVA.

TVA Total Vision has four key features:

? The All Sites Report that gives a listing of all availablesite reports and the associated documents.

? The Advanced Site Search that allows an individual to searchfor site reports based on a wide variety of criteria.

? The Recommendation Summary Report that produces a list ofrecommendations by site based on selections.

? The Executive Summary Selection that gives a list of sitesearch criteria in order to produce a report showing the site name,any documents associated with that site and an executivesummary.
