Under the alliance, users of both Guidewire's claim system,Guidewire ClaimCenter, and First Notice's claim intake application,ClaimCapture, would find seamless integration to third-partysystems for services such as direct repair program referrals,ordering police reports, flagging suspicious claims, and more.

The new setup would transmit notifications of these activitiesdirectly into the claim file.

Both applications, the companies said, can easily integrate withmultiple legacy systems, including policy administrationsystems.

First Notice Systems a subsidiary of Boston-based Concentra,Inc., is a provider of claim reporting and customer servicesolutions to the insurance and healthcare industries. GuidewireSoftware, based in San Mateo, Calif., provides Web-based claimssolutions to property-casualty and workers' compensationinsurers.
