Wilcox Named Prez At Pilgrim Outsource Firm

NU Online News Service, Oct.1, 12:15 p.m.EDT?Ellen Wilcox has been named president of Pilgrim, abusiness process outsourcing subsidiary of Pilgrim InsuranceCompany in Boston.

Ms. Wilcox is a 25-year veteran of the insurance industry. Shejoined Pilgrim in May of 2003 as executive vice president.

Hal Belodoff, chairman of Pilgrim Insurance Company, said Ms.Wilcox as president "will focus her efforts on the daily operationswith special emphasis on the development of new serviceopportunities and fostering best practices for Pilgrim's customers,property and casualty insurers." Ms. Wilcox, he said, has a recordof successfully building, leading and growing companies.

Before joining Pilgrim, Ms. Wilcox was president of ES Wilcoxand Associates, a strategy and technology consulting service to theproperty and casualty insurance industry. Prior to that, she waspresident and CEO of ClaimPlace, an e-marketplace for property andcasualty claim services.

Pilgrim provides insurance expertise and turnkey outsourcingsolutions in the areas of underwriting, claims, agency management,billing and customer service for the private passenger andcommercial automobile insurance business.
