AIG Aviation Names Myers Chairman

|Steve Blakey, executive vice president of AIG Aviation, willassume Mr. Myers' former role as president. Mr. Blakey joined AIGin 1980 and was appointed to his current post in 1997.
|Mr. Myers began his career in aviation underwriting in 1966 whenhe started working at Southeastern Aviation Underwriters. He joinedAIG Aviation in 1983 when Southeastern Aviation was bought by AIG.Mr. Myers has been serving as AIG Aviation's president since1993.
|AIG Aviation, based in Atlanta, is part of the NewYork-headquartered American International Group Inc. AIG Aviationhas more than $1.3 billion in gross premiums written. It offersinsurance products ranging from commercial aviation operations topersonal aircraft coverage.
