Agent Brand Campaign Airs February On TV

NU Online News Service, Jan 22, 1:16 p.m. EST ?The independent agent branding campaign will take its message to anational audience beginning next month with ads for the "TrustedChoice" label hitting cable television beginning in February.

The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Americaannounced it would launch its television advertising campaign forthe "Trusted Choice" branding program for six weeks beginning Feb.3.

The 30-second commercial spots are light-hearted in nature, andfocus on auto, home and commercial insurance.

The ads are meant to convey to consumers the message thatindependent insurance agents are the trusted advisors they arelooking for when it comes to the insurance transaction, said LarryAcord, IIABA executive director for Trusted Choice and vicepresident of consumer marketing for the Alexandria, Va.-basedassociation.

The association said ads are scheduled to air on programs withhigh audience ratings on CNN and CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC,and the Fox News Channel.

"The initial thrust of this landmark national advertisingcampaign will highlight the benefits?choice, customization ofpolicies and advocacy?"Trusted Choice" agencies provide," saidRobert A. Rusbuldt, IIABA's chief executive officer in astatement.
