Gallagher Acquires Three
|NU Online News Service, June 21, 11:35 a.m.EST? Insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher, based inItasca, Ill., announced agency acquisitions in Kansas, Oklahoma andUtah.
|The firm said it acquired Manning & Smith Insurance, Inc.,of Wichita, Kan.; Roberts & Roberts Insurance Agency, Inc., ofOklahoma City, Okla. and MountainView Software Corp., of Layton,Utah.
|Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
|Manning & Smith offers retail and wholesaleproperty-casualty insurance products and services. The agencyspecializes in the hospitality industry, handling insuranceprograms for over 1,600 hotels worldwide.
|Roberts & Roberts is a full-service life, health andaccident insurance agency focusing on benefits for employers with10 to 2,000 employees.
|MountainView Software is a custom software development andtraining company specializing in high-level claims management andreporting software for professional claims examiners.
|Gallagher said all three agencies will continue operations attheir present locations with current management and staff reportingto Gallagher executives.
