RIMS Elects Mandel New President

NU Online News Service, April 15, 11:50 a.m., EST, NewOrleans?Christopher E. Mandel was elected president of theRisk and Insurance Management Society Inc., it was announced todayat the RIMS conference here.

The vote took place yesterday at the society's annual House ofDelegates meeting for members of the 2002-2003 ExecutiveCouncil.

Mr. Mandel, who is assistant vice president, enterprise riskmanagement at USAA, and other elected officers begin their termsMay 1. Lance J. Ewing, senior director, risk management, GESExposition Services, was elected first vice president and chiefrisk officer.
