She previously served as vice president, and later, senior vice president of IT Applications, overseeing design and development of Sedgwick. ICW Group Insurance Companies appointed Sandy Smith as vice president, risk management. She served at  EMC Insurance Companies as assistant vice president. Novidea appointed Ido Peled as senior vice president of product. He served as chief product and marketing officer at Taranis. DeCotis Specialty Insurance announced the following appointments:
  • Lori Lyle - senior commercial lines account manager
  • Jay Downie - commercial lines insurance broker
TMNA, Inc. appointed John Glomb as chief executive officer of the company. He also serves as CEO of Philadelphia Insurance Companies. FM Global appointed Laurel Rudnick as senior vice president, division manager for AFM. She served as operations senior vice president, New York operations manager at FM Global. Verisk announced that Rob Newbold joined as president, Extreme Event Solutions. He previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Extreme Event Solutions. INSTANDA promoted Ben Snape to the role of global chief operating officer. He served long-term roles with carriers and specialty insurance and reinsurance providers at Aspen. National Council of Insurance Legislators announced the following appointments:
  • Tom Oliverson - president
  • Pamela Hunter - vice president
  • Paul Utke – treasurer
  • Edmond Jordan - secretary
