QBE appointed Harpreet Mann as head of global credit & surety for its North America division. Sher served as deputy general counsel at Exporters International, Inc. Argo Casualty announced Chris Haarmann joined as the new leader in the U.S. and Bermuda. He will report to Gary Grose and Matt Harris for the Bermuda Casualty book of business. Haarmann previously worked at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group as president and chief operating officer. Valley Insurance Agency Alliance appointed Susan Piccione as its regional manager of Missouri. She previously worked in claims solutions and analytics for a Fortune 500 insurance company. Crum & Forster announced the following appointments:

• Safeer Mohammed - underwriting cyber/technology E&O
• Ross Perkins - underwriting cyber/technology E&O

Willis Towers Watson appointed Alexander Van Gorden as senior technology director for its insurance consulting and technology business. He previously served as a senior sales executive for Guidewire Software. Morse Insurance Agency Inc. appointed David Polutchko as its newest commercial lines sales account executive. He previously served as assistant vice president at Aon Risk Services. Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. announced that Erick Mortenson has joined the organization as a consulting actuary in the Denver area. He previously worked at Willis Towers Watson as senior vice president. Oneglobal appointed Max Bingley as senior partner financial lines. He previously worked at Aon as executive director. Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC appointed Jeffrey Livingston as global head of sales and he will also join the Executive Committee. He served as vice-chair, North America at Willis Re.
