Duck Creek Technologies announced today that it recently joined the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's Agents Council for Technology (ACT).

The Missouri-based property and casualty insurance technology provider intends to use the alliance to help guide strategic innovation initiatives that further modernize the insurance industry.

Duck Creek Technologies CEO Michael A. Jackowski said in a press release: "To stay relevant in today's market, industry stakeholders continue to pursue technology solutions that let them respond quickly to the needs of their customers and the requirements of their business… We are delighted to be a supportive member of this organization and look forward to sharing our expertise as they advance their technology goals."

Duck Creek joins a long list of fellow technology providers, industry organizations, user groups and carriers who contribute to the Agents Council for Technology.

Of the company's addition to the group, ACT Executive Director Ron Berg said: "We look forward to working with the Duck Creek Technologies team on efforts to improve effective technology solutions for independent insurance agents and brokers."
