Building strong customer relations has been the key to iPartners earning its RAVE Award in the category of business intelligence for its Insurance Scorecard solution, according to Robert Lasher, president and CEO.
"We really know the customer and their needs and provide insights and assistance to help them achieve their objectives on an on-going basis," he says. "We also are fortunate to have a team of folks that take ownership of customers and deliverables and make sure things are done right."
Lasher contends that as a provider of business intelligence solutions, understanding each customer and all of their needs is essential to delivering value to the marketplace.
"The dynamic nature of the P&C industry and the changing information requirements means this needs to occur on an on-going basis versus a scheduled timeline," he says. "To facilitate a more formal way for customers to provide input and help prioritize our solution development; we established a customer advisory board three years ago. Our customers have been instrumental in guiding our direction and very supportive of our efforts. We value the relationships that have been established and the input we receive. No doubt our customers make us a better company."
Lasher claims iPartners is the first business intelligence software company to offer software as a service (SaaS) focused on the P&C market.
"Our past focus has really been on services levels and developing a solution that supports a very robust set of analytics," says Lasher. "To do that, we have developed significant expertise around legacy data and how to integrate that for analytics."
Lasher also believes what makes iPartners stand out is the company's ability to tailor its data model and outputs to meet the specific requirements of each customer.
"Users today are doing a lot of extra work on their own in an attempt to get what they want," he says. "We deliver that for them. Our experience is that canned outputs for analytics often fail to hit the mark. Over the next year we will be expanding the self-service capabilities of our solution so that users can further leverage what we deliver to them on their own."
