2012 RAVE Awards Announced
Tech Decisions, Novarica combine to honor insurance software solution providers.
Winners of the 2012 RAVE Awards—presented by Tech Decisions and Novarica—demonstrated a willingness to go the extra step with their customers. The appreciation shown by those customers demonstrates that insurance software solution providers in 10 categories have effectively served the needs of those insurance carriers.
"The RAVE Awards were designed to recognize those solutions that are delivering exemplary value to their customers as measured by those customers themselves," says Matt Josefowicz, partner and managing director for Novarica.
Customers rated their vendor and the solution in five specific areas: staff, organization, functionality, technology, and overall satisfaction. The categories included: agent connectivity, agent portal, claims, document management, financials, life policy administration systems, p&c policy administration systems, reinsurance administration, service, and other.
With so many insurance carriers turning to solution providers for their technology needs, finding the right vendor application is a challenge for insurers. Josefowicz believes one of the most important inputs in evaluating technology products is current client experience.
"Although the insurance industry has a long history of building its own technology solutions, the pendulum has been firmly passed on the 'buy' side of the 'build vs. buy' spectrum for the past few years across most core application areas," says Josefowicz.
James Daggett, publisher of Tech Decisions believes the RAVE Awards provide a valuable tool for solution providers as they provide input on what carriers like and don't like about their solution partners.
"This is our third year doing the RAVE Awards and from what we have learned from the software companies and insurance carriers is that technology solutions involve a true partnership," says Daggett.
