The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) officially touched down last month and brought with it a whole new host of concerns for companies looking to stay on the right side compliance.

While flashier items such as right of access requests and data collection consent windows popping up on websites are getting a lot of attention, for businesses, the lingering implications of the CCPA can stretch much further. Keeping up with the law could require companies to revisit several key and, in some cases, even mundane practices.
