VIDEO: NU workers' comp award winners share secrets behind their success

The winners of NU's 2017 Excellence in Workers' Compensation Risk Management Award had a busy time at the Workers' Compensation Institute's 72nd annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando, sharing the successes of their programs with attendees at a panel discussion and in an exclusive video interview.

On Tuesday, NU Editor-In-Chief Shawn Moynihan led the conference's "Winning Strategies for Workers' Compensation Risk Management" panel with the three winners: Brian Rodgers, senior director of corporate risk management for Butterball LLC; Bob Alford, human resources manager of Cherokee County, Georgia; and Neftali Ortiz, director of risk management at Nations Roof LLC.

The previous day, just after receiving their award statuettes at a special ceremony during the conference's opening session, the winners joined Kimberly George, senior vice president of corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, and health care for award co-sponsor Sedgwick, and Mark Walls, vice president, communications and strategic analysis, for award co-sponsor Safety National, for a live edition of "Out Front Ideas With Kimberly and Mark." The winners shared their success with WCI TV and NU in the interview, which you can watch in the video below.
