CUNA Mutual Group, through its TruStage Insurance Agency, has revamped its customer contact strategy through the use of SAS Enterprise Guide to provide relevant, timely offers to credit union members. Since 2006, CUNA Mutual has mined its databases with SAS to create clear and concise internal reports.

CNA has deployed Oracle Insurance's Insbridge Rating and Underwriting system to support a new rating system designed to enable the company to respond more quickly to market changes and opportunities. CNA replaced the rating portion of a legacy policy administration system, integrating the Oracle solution into the legacy system and built a new rating structure for its commercial property insurance line of business.

Amalgamated Casualty Insurance Company and PCMS announced that ACIC has selected and deployed PCMS' Atlas system as its new platform for rating, underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims management and reporting. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has selected Claims Manager from JDi Data Corp., as its claims and risk management systems provider. Claims Manager will equip Choctaw Nation with a modernized claims system to increase their effectiveness of managing claims for multiple lines of businesses. JDi Data converted existing data for a speedy deployment. Claims Manager now gives Choctaw Nation the capabilities to easily track their hierarchy, multiple program locations, and divisions across all lines of businesses.

Medical Mutual Insurance Company of Maine has completed a successful migration from the client server version of Delphi Technology's OASIS to the new eOASIS platform. It was deployed on a J2EE-based technology architecture that leverages a service-oriented architecture (SOA), a library of web services, business process management (BPM), and business rules.

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan and X by 2 teamed up to overcome legacy limitations, give customers online self-service, and unify data. Farm Bureau wanted to offer customers an intuitive agent locator, online quoting, policy inquiry, ability to request changes, access to documents, electronic bill payment, claims reporting and status inquiry—all while keeping the agent informed.
