2013 RAVE Award Winner: Maximum Processing

Product: Stingray

Company: Maximum Processing
Product: Stingray
Representative: Sean Pitcher, President

To what do you attribute the positive ratings from your customers?
Pitcher: “Our commitment to our relationship with our clients is our number-one priority. We really focus on being a good partner. We want to have a long-lasting relationship with our clients and work to ensure that we deal fairly, openly and honestly with them.”

How do you communicate with your customers to meet their needs?
Pitcher: “Our system is highly configurable and meets individual client needs without the need to ‘affect’ the core system or other clients. There is no dependency for a client to have to wait for a release or new version to be able to have new functionality or workflows. We have weekly client calls to ensure open communication and each client has a business analyst assigned to them as well as technical folks.”

What are some of the positive developments your company has achieved in the past year to make your product stand out amid a crowded solution-provider market?
Pitcher: “Our basic philosophy is that we have tried to take everything that we have disliked in the software process and turn it on its ear. We let clients cancel at any time without penalty; we provide the entire system for the license, including interfaces so there are no add-ons or missing parts; when a new interface is added, clients are able to have it as part of their license; we have no limitation on users, premium, lines of business, or writing companies—the license is a site license so it is a fixed cost as clients grow; we have a customer portal for our project management system which allows clients to see all of the work going on in progress, who is working on it, and allow them to change/set priorities; we also include  additional functions as part of the license—imaging, workflow, BI, and more.

Background: A complete solution, with quick installation capabilities, the Stingray base system comes complete with policy, billing, claims, reinsurance, imaging, agency and consumer portals, point-of-sale, workflow, business intelligence, and many third-party interfaces. The Stingray system is an affordable, flexible system that meets the needs of carriers of all sizes. It is a modular, end-to-end, proven solution.
