To what do you attribute the positive ratings from your customers?
Hauck: “We work hard to be true partners to our customers. With over 75 distribution solution implementations across over 50 customers, experience serves as the foundation to the partnership we share with our customers. No two carrier distribution strategies are the same and we push our customers to design strategically-differentiating solutions that produce the most innovative and adopted solutions in the marketplace. Our customers appreciate not only the carrier experience we bring to the table but the insights we provide relative to optimizing the experience they offer their distribution partners.”
How do you communicate with your customers to meet their needs?
Hauck: “Often. Almost every good idea we have developed has come from our customers; it’s the key to our model. Account directors communicate daily with customers. Management team members reach out regularly to understand what is working and what can use improvement. Quarterly customer calls allow us to update carriers on our most recent thinking and product development, and to give them a regular platform for input into our product roadmap. We host an annual three-day customer conference away from our respective offices. The time and focus allows us to dig deep into industry challenges and problem-solve on particular issues. We also have an active customer advisory council.”
What are some of the positive developments your company has achieved in the past year to make your product stand out amid a crowded solution-provider market?
Hauck: “Agencyport has undergone a number of sizable changes over the last several years; changes that left some of the market confused about our focus and vision. With the management lead buyout last year, that focus and vision are once again clear. We became what we are by doing one thing really well: optimizing policy distribution for P&C carriers. Our vision is to continue to add value across all corners of that process, giving our carrier customers the tools they need to stay competitive in a quickly evolving industry.”
