Who's Using What: Insurance Software Deals Announced

Saxon Motor & General Insurance has selected SIMS Claims from Systema Software as its new claims management system.

The Cincinnati Insurance Company has completed an initiative with IVANS that enables the carrier’s independent agents to download selected commercial policy data to their agency management systems. Motorists Mutual Insurance selected IVANS to implement download for its commercial lines products.

Vermont Mutual Insurance has selected Corticon to power the development of new business applications. The deployment is part of a larger effort involving Corticon partners Appian Technologies, a provider of business process management systems, and Blue Slate Solutions, a BPM consultancy. 

XL Global Services has selected PCIS CompVision to support workers’ compensation business for multiple XL carriers in all 50 states, plus Guam and Puerto Rico. 

The Dominion of Canada General Insurance has deployed OneShield Dragon to support their goal of a single system for all personal and commercial lines of business.

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation has selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite as its platform for underwriting and policy administration, claims management, and billing for all lines of business. Groupe Promutuel has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims management system for all personal, commercial, and farm lines of business across its 27 independent-member companies.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will go live this month with the first phase of its new claims adjudication solution implemented on the Oracle Health Insurance claims application.

Aspen Insurance has chosen the iAutomate: Company Surety solution from Insurance Automation Group to help launch its commercial surety business for underwriting, integrated booking, and account management.

Coastal Insurance Risk Retention Group and Healthcare Workers' Compensation Fund have selected Ravello Solutions to implement a new end-to-end software system to service their hospitals and physicians in the state of Alabama. 

AmWINS Group has joined the LexisNexis Insurance Exchange as a full member to improve their product distribution and collaboration with retail agents and brokers. 

Pinnacol Assurance will deploy ImageNow from Perceptive Software for claims processing and throughout other areas of the company.

Mutual of Omaha is introducing a face-to-face e-signature option, which allows agents to complete an application and electronic signature process via iGO e-App.

The state of Utah has selected Mitchell International, Inc., as one of four vendors to provide claims administrators with electronic data interchange services, first reports of injury, and subsequent reports of injury to simplify workers' compensation reporting requirements.
